About RackLot
Built for teams who need real infrastructure.
Since 2011, RackLot has been doing one thing: putting bare-metal servers in the hands of engineers who need them. No shared resources. No abstraction layers. Just hardware.
Dedicated infrastructure, refined over 14 years.
RackLot was founded in 2011 with a straightforward premise: dedicated servers should be simple to get, reliable to run, and priced honestly. While the rest of the industry moved toward virtualization and multi-tenancy, we stayed focused on bare metal.
Today, that same principle drives everything we do. Our customers range from independent developers running game servers to enterprises deploying mission-critical workloads — and they all share one thing: they need hardware that's truly theirs, not borrowed capacity from a shared pool.
We've never pivoted into managed cloud services or SaaS add-ons. Dedicated hosting is all we do, and we've been doing it longer than most of our competitors have existed.
Timeline
-
2011Founded in Dallas, TX. First rack goes live with a single dedicated server product line.
-
2014Expanded to Los Angeles. Added 10 Gbps uplinks and private cross-datacenter backbone.
-
2018Rolled out always-on DDoS mitigation across all locations. IPMI + KVM-over-IP standard on every server.
-
2023Launched Ashburn, VA (ASH1) — our East Coast presence for low-latency access to the Eastern US and Europe.
-
2025Three-datacenter network. 2.4 Tbps DDoS scrubbing. Sub-24-hour provisioning guaranteed.
The principles we've built the company on.
Fourteen years in, these aren't aspirational values on a wall — they're the decisions we make every day about what hardware to buy, how to staff support, and what we won't compromise on.
Bare metal only
We don't sell virtual machines, shared hosting, or cloud instances. Every server you order is a physical machine assigned exclusively to you — no hypervisor overhead, no noisy neighbours.
Reliability as infrastructure
99.99% network uptime isn't a marketing claim — it's a commitment backed by redundant upstream providers, N+1 power, and real-time monitoring at every layer of the stack.
Fast, not eventually
We provision servers in under 24 hours — nights, weekends, and holidays included. When you're launching something, you shouldn't have to wait for us to catch up to a business day.
Full root access
IPMI and KVM-over-IP are standard on every machine. Reinstall an OS, reboot out-of-band, reflash firmware — without filing a ticket or waiting for a technician.
Engineers on support
Our 24/7 support team are sysadmins and network engineers who know this infrastructure. You'll never read a canned response to a RAID failure at 3 AM.
Transparent pricing
What you see in the store is what you pay. No activation fees, no surprise bandwidth overages, no infrastructure markups buried in an invoice. Prices stay fixed for the life of the server.
Three US datacenters. One private backbone.
Our network spans Dallas, Los Angeles, and Ashburn — chosen for their carrier density, power reliability, and geographic coverage of the US market. All three locations share a private 10 Gbps backbone, so internal traffic between your servers is free and fast.
Every location runs always-on DDoS mitigation with 2.4 Tbps of scrubbing capacity. There's no "premium" tier for protection — it's included on every server, at every price point.

Bare metal isn't the right answer for every workload — but for the ones it is, it's the only answer. Here's where RackLot is purpose-built to deliver.
Game server hosting
Low-latency bare metal with DDoS protection built in. Dedicated CPU cores that won't throttle under player load. Run whatever game stack you need — we don't restrict software.
High-traffic web applications
When your traffic spikes matter and shared CPU ruins your response times, dedicated hardware gives you the consistent throughput that cloud instances can't guarantee.
Database & storage workloads
I/O-intensive databases, large-scale analytics, and bulk storage all benefit from dedicated spindle or NVMe resources that aren't shared with other tenants on the same host.
Hosting resellers
Run your own hosting business on enterprise hardware. Full root access means you control every layer — hypervisor, control panel, and billing stack. We stay invisible.
DDoS-targeted businesses
If you're in an industry that gets hit — gaming, financial services, VoIP, DNS — our always-on 2.4 Tbps mitigation handles volumetric attacks without requiring you to lift a finger.
Enterprise & custom deployments
Need a custom hardware configuration, private networking, or multi-server deployment? Talk to us. We've been building custom setups since 2011 and can accommodate most requirements.
