How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Server Plan

How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Server Plan

Requesting an Upgrade

To upgrade to a more powerful server or add resources:

  1. Log into your client area
  2. Open a Sales ticket with the subject "Server Upgrade Request"
  3. Include:
    • Your current server IP address
    • The plan or specifications you want to upgrade to (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth)
    • Your preferred upgrade timing

Our team will advise on availability, pricing, and any required migration steps.

What Happens During an Upgrade

  • Same server, more RAM/storage: Typically a brief maintenance window
  • New server (higher tier): We assist with migration — your data is transferred to the new machine
  • Billing is adjusted on a prorated basis for the remainder of the billing period

Requesting a Downgrade

To reduce your plan:

  1. Ensure your data fits within the lower plan's storage limits
  2. Open a Sales ticket requesting the downgrade
  3. Specify the desired plan and your preferred date

Downgrades typically take effect at the next billing renewal unless an earlier date is agreed.

Adding Additional IP Addresses

Open a Sales ticket requesting additional IPs. Provide a justification for the additional IPs as required by ARIN/RIPE policy.
