Installing HestiaCP

HestiaCP is a free, open-source web hosting control panel — the most actively maintained fork of VestaCP. It supports multiple domains, email, databases, FTP, and DNS management.

Requirements

• Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 (recommended) or Debian 10/11
• Minimum 1 GB RAM (2 GB+ recommended)
• Clean server with no existing web server, PHP, or database

Installation

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hestiacp/hestiacp/release/install/hst-install.sh
bash hst-install.sh

The installer will ask for your email, hostname, and which components to install (Apache/Nginx, MariaDB, Exim, Dovecot, etc.). The installation takes 10–20 minutes.

Access HestiaCP

After installation, access the panel at: https://YOUR_SERVER_IP:8083

Log in with admin and the password shown at the end of installation (also emailed to you).
