How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication on Your Account

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication on Your Client Account

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of security to your Racklot client area login, preventing unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.

Step 1 — Install an Authenticator App

Download one of these apps on your phone:

  • Google Authenticator (iOS / Android)
  • Authy (iOS / Android / Desktop — supports backups)
  • Microsoft Authenticator (iOS / Android)

Step 2 — Enable 2FA in Your Client Area

  1. Log into your client area
  2. Click your name or avatar in the top-right and go to Security Settings
  3. Find the Two-Factor Authentication section
  4. Click Enable
  5. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  6. Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app to verify
  7. Save the backup codes shown — store them in a secure location

Logging In with 2FA Enabled

  1. Enter your email and password as usual
  2. When prompted, open your authenticator app and enter the current 6-digit code

Lost Access to Your 2FA Device?

Use one of your saved backup codes to log in. If you do not have backup codes, open a support ticket with proof of account ownership (government ID matching the account name). Our team will verify your identity and assist with account recovery.

Disable 2FA

  1. Log in using your code
  2. Go to Security Settings
  3. Click Disable next to Two-Factor Authentication
